Flowers don’t choose to bloom, they simply do. If I were a flower, I think I would bloom not just in petals, but in scent, touch, sight, sound, and taste — carrying pieces of myself in every sense.
I remember there once was a poetry I wrote somewhere back in 2019 which was on love in five senses. And this little teeny meeny blog is inspired by the same where I will try to express that if I were a flower, what would I be in the five senses.
The idea is to enable the readers with a little insight on what kind of a person I am… Enjoy!
If I were a flower, I would smell like those white florals that you see in the carefully crafted gardens. The ones that while drifting away with the wind, tend to pick up a faint scent of the earth, with a little hint of citrus in them. The type of flower that never goes unnoticed when someone passes by you with a bouquet in their hand, and it gives you an instant halt, a quick turn of the head, a rushing thought - Wait what was that?
“Fragrance is memory’s most delicate bookmark.”
Something that’s strongly fresh, subtly feminine and boldly upapologetic! The closest to this scent would be the gen’s favorite - Tuberose, commonly known as ‘Rajniganda’.

For my readers who haven’t had the chance to get themselves aquainted with a Tuberose, I am attaching a picture from my own terrace garden for the reference -

The only difference in our whites is of the warmth… you can clearly see who is warmer ;)
If I were a flower, to the touch, I would feel like a rose. Soft, velvety, yet not to be underestimated. Just like every rose, I know my worth. They say - “You’ve got a charm that people can’t resist.”Well, well, well - one should be aware of their power right?
While I am mostly the soft, beautiful, bold, charming …. pretty much the embodiment of a classic pink rose, no rose grows without its thorns.
It grows in harsh weather and harsher world. Similarly as a person, I come with my own set of rules and strictness when it comes to my work. I am all fun and petals till jokes, but the switch to thorn mode is more instant than anyone’s coffee.
Yet another reminder, that beauty comes with boundaries, and gentleness can coexist with power.
“Even softness can defend itself.”
