There’s a little concern with this topic bcz I have seen that there are many UV pens availabe in the market which basically have invisible ink and you put UV light on them, and it works.

Now the thing is if we go with those kind of pens, the marketing angle in my head says - We tell people how they can finally get to live their Agatha Christie character. Act mysterious, keep things secret bla bla bla.

But that’s …. kinda over done??!?!/ in my opinion. I mean this UV thing ain’t a new product, a revolution.

But we are still going with this idea - I have mentioned the reason in the video.

Campaign Theme: Write the Unseen

Tagline: Your secrets, your highlights, your story - revealed only when you choose.

Core Idea

It’s not just a pen (it’s giving - AIN’T YOUR REGULAR PEN BROTHER) it’s a tool for mystery, privacy, and creativity.

The UV-Reveal Pen lets you write invisible messages that only appear under UV light. For kids, (who in my opinion would be the best consumers for this) - it’s about play and imagination. For students, it’s about discreet note-taking and highlighting without damaging their books. For everyone, it’s a little bit of magic in their hands.

That also gives me another idea - what if we could make a pen like thing only that can be used as a nailpaint? I think we do have nail paints that change color under UV but what if we market it to young kids? Back in school we were not allowed to apply nailpaints (GREAT MOVE BY SCHOOLS) but a little evil idea is what if kids can apply this on their nails and it’s basically invisible until they are out in the sun? It’s kinda like hitting two shots with one arrow.

I mean at this point - Just let the kids live and enjoy their life.

Campaign Pillars

1. Mystery & Play

Position it as the modern “detective tool” that puts kids in their Sherlock Holmes era.

Example - Kids’ spy games (secret notes, invisible clues) - I mean we can even do treasure hunts on birthday parties and clues are hidden in plain sight.

If we are targeting reading lovers or even teenagers…campaign hook can also be something like - Live that Agatha Christie character once in your life.

2. Romance & Intimacy

Sell the idea of secret love letters → what looks like a blank page to everyone else becomes meaningful when revealed.

I mean we may not be able to direct it to teenagers directly bcz we might get cancelled for that, so we will direct it towards couples, but then teenagers are smart obviously.

And it can be great for gifting as well - Blank birthday card that reveals a personal message under UV light.
