You must have seen the manychat trend where everyone says comment a 'word' and people do that, it increases the comments, ultimately boosting the overall engagement . But let’s do it a little differently.

We’ll also say comment a word, it can be any word, for example lets say if zolo is organising a movie night, in the reel we can have a secret word that someone will say sneakily anywhere between the reel) at last we will ask the audience to comment that secret word.

2 things will happen this way -

  1. this increases the gamification, ensuring there's a fun element because even in lead gen, we are not telling them directly to comment a word
  2. for anyone who has not paid attention to that word in the reel, they will watch the reel again which will increase the plays and views.

Now question is why would they comment? We’ll give them a chance to win a small prize or a free community event pass.

****For this at first I thought of inviting influencers from the tourism industry (such as travel bloggers) but anyone who's out for just travel will more or less find the right kind of stay in zolo's hotel segment and not their PG segment (because let's be real, if someone is looking for 1-month stay, they would rather go to a hotel instead of going to PG kind of setup where they also have to pay an extra of 1 month rent as security deposit. nobody in their right minds would be willing to pay 20K for a month at PG when they can just pay 10K at a hotel.

So what we can do is invite people from our community itself who are influencers (even if its on micro level). Question arises how will we find them?

  1. For any bookings from now on, start asking for their social media (and do clarify why we are doing it because transparency should not be compromised)
  2. Have a series of posts, stories, whatsapp messages circulated among the community where are invite influencers for these kind of gigs (which can also transform into a good work opportunity role later) The idea would be to convey this message in a way that makes the community feel SPECIAL as if they are getting a 'chance' to be featured on our social media (which actually is the other way round because we need them...but they don't need to know about it)

And if we go on collaborating with some major influencers, then we can just sponsor their stay at one of zolo's hotel segment and have them make a video about not just the hotel part but also add how zolo has this stay and scholar segment. here the influencer's focus would be on highlighting the communty and safety aspect that zolo brings with a No-B.S attitude.
