First off we’ll segregate our influencers based on their followers and reach.
- Nano-Influencers (5K-10K followers): The ones we’ll generally find within our community itself (target the kids, they are always looking for opportunities and to be featured on a company’s page while in college is always an achievement for them).
We’ll have a super close-knit community, these are people who are relatable & aren’t afraid of making mistakes (cuz they are still figuring it out). We’ll get good UGC and some really creative content.

- Micro-Influencers (10k-50k followers): More relatable, high engagement rates, ideal for UGC (User Generated Content), and testimonials + they bring a different energy, it’s good working with them
- Mid-Tier Influencers (50k-250k followers): Bigger reach, authority in niches like travel, lifestyle, or student life. (no judging but majority of these ones play hard to get, throw tantrums for no reason but we’ll deal with it)
- Macro Influencers (250k+ followers): Generally the humble ones (just like the giant gym bros) We can use them sparingly for brand awareness and bigger campaigns like Zolo Scholar or Fest events.
The reason I mentioned their personality types is to bring everyone on the same ground and have an idea of how to deal differently with different tiers of influencers.
