Thanks for making it through to the second stage of our hiring process.
This role is a little different from a traditional social media position. A major part of the job will involve travelling on Noma Collective trips and creating content while you are there, alongside supporting wider marketing activity including website content, blogs and CRM.
For this task, we'd like to get a feel for your creative judgement, your understanding of Noma, and how you would approach creating content while actually on a trip.
Please spend no more than two hours on the entire task.
We are not looking for something overly polished or something you've spent a day perfecting. We'd much rather see good ideas, strong judgement and an ability to create quickly.
You are welcome to use AI, CapCut, Canva, templates or any other tools that help you work efficiently. We are judging the quality of your thinking and output, not how manually you produced it.
Part 1: Create a Reel
Imagine that wherever you are currently based is a destination where a Noma Collective trip is taking place.
Create one short-form video/Reel that you think Noma could genuinely post.
You don't need to showcase or identify your actual location. We're more interested in the idea, storytelling, hook and execution than whether the destination looks like a Noma trip.
The Reel should ideally:
We're very happy for you to appear on camera. In fact, being comfortable becoming part of the content is useful for this role.
Please also include:
The caption you would post with the Reel.
The main objective of the Reel, in one or two sentences. For example, awareness, engagement, changing a misconception about Noma, generating enquiries or encouraging someone to explore a destination.
